Individualized coaching is available for public speaking or acting. These are one-on-one sessions that are tailored to client’s specific needs. Rachel has coached numerous people on developing performance skills including those terrified of public speaking and experienced actors wanting to hone their craft.

In-person sessions will be arranged with Winnipeg residents. Online sessions are also available for interested persons living outside of Winnipeg. Contact Rachel to find out more!

Public Speaking

Each person has a different journey when it comes to working on developing their public speaking and presentation skills. Sessions can include clarity when speaking, stage presence, learning how to engage an audience, as well as tips on overcoming nervousness. For those with more experience, coaching is available for in-depth skill development and detailed performative feedback on vocal expression, physicality in front of an audience and elevating audience engagement.

Reviews

“I am a highly energetic individual. While this trait isn’t negative, it has occasionally posed challenges in my professional endeavours, particularly when delivering information to audiences, as my enthusiasm sometimes resulted in unclear articulation. Following my collaboration with Rachel, I have come to realize that I no longer need to fret over this issue. I have successfully implemented all of her advice and pronunciation exercises into my work as a journalist. Thanks to her guidance, I not only achieved my first successful public speaking engagement but also derived immense satisfaction from the experience.”

“In 6 one-hour- performance- coaching sessions, Rachel helped me to gain great confidence to present my story in front of so many audiences at the Shoe Project. This was my first performance on a big stage in English, not my native language. It was a wonderful and very pleasant experience working with her, my performance coach. Not only mine but also I observed big improvements in the other storytellers in that project, who also had performance coaching sessions with Rachel.”

“Rachel was so patient and easy to work with and meets you where you are at. I loved all the tips and constructive feedback she provided and was very amazed at how much more confidence I had, to tell my story on stage after spending five sessions with her.”

“Rachel was helpful in improving my public speaking skills during my four one-on-one coaching sessions with her as well as the dress rehearsal and the shows of the Pathways project. She is passionate with what she does and very encouraging to all the participants.”
