Classes and Workshops are currently run by founding artist Rachel E Smith. Rachel’s teaching experience in combination with a background in directing has contributed to her success as an instructor.
Rachel is currently working as an instructor at Manitoba Theatre for Young People, teaching both theatre and film classes for kids and teens. Previous to her time at MTYP, she was a contract and sessional instructor at Prairie Theatre Exchange as well as a contract instructor with the Wpg No.1 School Division. She has taught Introduction to Acting workshops for Theatre and Film through various organizations including Panache Management. She offers workshops as well as private coaching on public speaking and has even worked with the University of Manitoba Science Department to help students with their presentation skills.
